EVENT SCHEDULE:

  • Wednesday, April 23rd: Last day to transfer your race bib to another participant.  (NO TRANSFERS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ANY REASON AFTER 4/23). Use this Transfer Link
  • Saturday, April 26th: 1:00pm-4:00pm Optional Early Packet Pickup at the Village Health Club & Spa Ocotillo.  PLEASE HAVE YOUR QR CODE READY.  You are also welcome to pick up packets for friends or family by providing their QR code.  (QR codes are included in your ticket confirmation email. We will re-send those emails on Thursday and text if you provided a mobile number on your entry).
  • Sunday, April 27th:
  • 6:30am - 7:30am Race Day Packet Pickup 

  • 7:30am Packet pickup officially closes.  PLEASE PLAN TO PICK UP YOUR RACE BIB BEFORE 7;30AM ON SATURDAY TO ALLOW OUR STAFF TO PREPARE FOR THE START OF THE EVENT.  

  • 7:35am: Shirt exchange/purchase available.  BIBS CANNOT BE PICKED UP AFTER 7:35am

  • 8:00am RUN/WALK START (for the safety of all participants, anyone pushing a stroller MUST start in the back) ALL WALKERS MUST START IN THE BACK TO ALLOW RUNNERS TO SAFELY PASS.  

ID is required if you would like an adult beverage when you finish

The start line is at the north end of the complex by Ocotillo Road. Please park at the Holiday Inn & Fountain Shops on the north side of Ocotillo Road.

Please do not park in the Village Health Club Lot.

For the enjoyment and pleasure of ALL participants, the Mimosa Garden is open ONLY  TO REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS.  Spectators, family and friends that are not participating, will NOT be allowed in this area.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation regarding this policy.  

Please remember this is a live event only.  If you are registered and choose not to attend for any reason, you are considered a "no show" and you will not receive any event related items.  (Sorry, but we cannot fairly make any exceptions)

Q: What if it rains on race day?
A:  Obviously we are hoping for another beautiful Arizona morning!  But regardless,  the event will take place. :)


Q: Where should I park?
A: : Please use parking spots in the Shops at Ocotillo, and across Ocotillo Road at the Holiday Inn. DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE HEALTH CLUB AS THIS AREA IS RESERVED FOR MEMBERS ONLY.

Q: I am entered in the event but can no longer attend, what are my options?
A: This event does not offer refunds or deferrals. If you are registered for the event, you agreed to the no refund and no deferral policy prior to submitting your online registration. This includes those who experience illness, injury or any other condition that may prevent them from participating in the event. However, we do allow you to transfer your race bib to another participant.   All transfers are available through Wednesday, April 23rd. After that time, all transfer options are completely closed (sorry, no exceptions).  Please see TRANSFER OPTIONS for complete details.
  Shirts and any other event related merchandise will NOT be mailed to those that do not attend.


Q: Do you offer virtual options?

A: No, this is a live event only.  Only those that complete the run (or walk), will receive a finisher medal.  

Q: Can I exchange my shirt for a different size?
A: Yes. You will be given the shirt size and style you selected when you registered. If you would like a different size, please come to the registration table at 7:35am on Sunday.  Sizes and quantities are available on a first come/first serve basis.  Please check your shirt fit before you leave as we cannot make exchanges once the event is over. 


Q: Do I have to wear my race number?
A: All participants must wear their race bib and have it clearly displayed on their FRONT during the event. The race number is how you are timed and scored. If we can't see your race number, you may not be listed in the results. Everyone on the course must be wearing a race bib. The only exception would be a child (4 years or younger) that remains in a stroller for the duration of the 5K. Under no circumstances can you wear a race bib not assigned to you, or carry a race bib for someone else.


Q: Are dogs allowed on the course? 

A: No – although we love dogs, due to safety concerns, they are not allowed on the course.

Q: Can I walk instead of run?
A: Yes! Even though this is a timed event, we welcome all runners and walkers! However, if you are planning to walk we do ask that you start toward in the back. 


Q: Can we bring strollers or baby joggers?
A: Sure! But we do ask that you start in the back so as not to impede the other runners. 

Q: Where can I see my results?
A: When you finish your race, you can find your results on the scrolling monitors near the finish line. You can also text your bib number to the number found on the back of your bib to receive your time. A few minutes after you finish, preliminary results can also be found online at 131Results.com. Please check your results before you leave. PLEASE PICK UP YOUR AGE GROUP AWARD AT THE EVENT - WE CANNOT MAIL AWARDS.

Q: Will there be any race photos?
A: Yes, and all photos will be free to download without any watermarks.   HOWEVER, please understand we cannot guarantee photos so if you want to have a specific photo taken, please feel free to ask our photographer directly and he will be glad to get your photo.
